Mark Wright has reflected on being given "another taste of the beautiful game" shortly after Crawley Town confirmed they had released him after just six months.
After hitting the big time on reality show, The Only Way Is Essex, the former semi-professional was given another shot at the sport he adored and joined the League Two club in December.
His time with the team has now come to an end, with Crawley confirming him as one of six players to depart the team along with a statement reading: "Mark joined the Reds in December 2020, having undergone a successful trial period with the club. "Since joining, Wright featured on two occasions for Crawley, the first coming in the Emirates FA Cup against Leeds United and the other in League action.
