Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan will soon be able to take a dip in their very own swimming pool. Construction on the married couple's lavish garden addition kicked off a few months ago, with the hope of enjoying the UK's summer heatwave out in the water.

Former TOWIE star Mark, 36, who tied the knot with Michelle, also 36, back in 2015, showcased the pool's progress on Instagram recently, tagging firm One Pool and Spa in pictures of the basin being craned into a foundational trench.

He'd previously told social followers: "Our garden means the world to us and we love the outdoors. We searched high and low to find the best landscape designers, after realising that there was only one company for us.

Mark and his ex-Coronation Street star wife originally purchased the property for £1.3 million four years ago, adding a "dream" spa to its interior just last September after finally moving in.The mansion boasts five bedrooms (three of which include private dressing rooms), as well as a state-of-the-art gym and private home bar.
