Mark Wright fights back tears as he shares update on Michelle Keegan and baby girl Palma

Heart FM's Mark Wright couldn't help but get teary on air as he opened up about his rollercoaster of emotions since becoming a father to baby Palma, with wife Michelle Keegan by his side.

Speaking to close friend and co-host Olly Murs, Mark, who ventured into fatherhood just last week, shared the realities of juggling his new daddy duties with their Saturday Breakfast show.

Olly kicked off the heart-to-heart saying: "I know you're such a private person mate, and I know we have a lot of banter on the show, and we joke and stuff, but this week has been truly special for you and Michelle.

Just tell me how you're feeling right now." Clearly moved, Mark responded: "Mate, it's actually hard to put it into words! I'll start by saying it's the biggest achievement of my life, it's all I think about, but obviously hats go off to my wife – she's just an absolute superhuman, superhero for bringing this baby into the world – and it makes you realise what our mums did for us, and makes me have so much more respect than I already had for what women have to go through." He added, his voice brimming with emotion: "But other than that, it's the best feeling in the world.
