Mario Falcone has taken a savage swipe at The Only Way Is Essex as he returned for the show's 10-year anniversary special. The reality TV star, 32, admitted the hit ITV series isn't as "strong" as it once was, and that "there's only so many storylines you can do".
The hunk has been a regular on the show since 2011, all the way up to his exit in 2018. Speaking to Mail Online, Mario admitted that there were times throughout his stint on the show when he thought it would come to an end.
He recalled: "I remember thinking years ago, 'this will be the last series now, it's going to be done'." He went on: "Maybe it's not as strong as it used to be.
