Manchester United boss Marc Skinner wants his team to 'put on a performance' in a historic fixture at Old Trafford. United welcome Everton to Old Trafford in the Women's Super League on Sunday afternoon in what will be their first game at the stadium in front of fans.

The women’s team first played at Old Trafford last season, winning 2-0 win against West Ham, but that fixture was played behind closed doors due to COVID-19 protocols, which denied the chance for any atmosphere.

Around 20,000 fans are expected inside Old Trafford to mark the occasion at the weekend as United look to continue their strong league form.

United finished fourth last term and they currently sit in third, just ahead of Manchester City on goal difference. ALSO READ: Why Manchester United loanee Amad isn't playing for Rangers.
