Manchester City supporters continue to rave about Kevin De Bruyne after the Belgian superstar laid down an early marker in their gripping title showdown with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
It took De Bruyne only five minutes to open the scoring with Premier League honours on the line. Starting the 90 minutes separated by a single point, City knew victory would open up a four-point advantage with seven games to play and Liverpool could also leapfrog the champions.
De Bruyne drew first blood and his strike was promptly followed by an equaliser from Liverpool forward Diogo Jota. All in all that made for a pulsating start to the game.
City regained the lead shortly before half-time thanks to a Gabriel Jesus strike.
