Mandy Moore is “kindly” telling trolls to “F off” after she shared a crowdfunding link to help her in-laws following the Eaton fire where they lost their home.
The This Is Us star shared a post on Instagram where she said her brother-in-law and sister-in-law had “lost their home and everything they own in the Eaton fire.” “With their first baby on the way in a matter of weeks, they need our support now more than ever,” Moore shared on Instagram, inviting her followers to donate to their GoFundMe page, which had initially set a goal to raise $60,000.
It wasn’t long before Moore faced backlash on social media for sharing the link, with many asking why she couldn’t donate herself.
Moore made an edit to the post and addressed the trolls, writing, “And people questioning whether we’re helping out our own family or attributing some arbitrary amount of money google says someone has is NOT helpful or empathetic.
