Zack Sharf Digital News Director Mandy Moore and her family were taken in by fellow actor Hilary Duff and her husband Matthew Koma after their home burned down in the L.A.

fires, Moore’s brother-in-law Griffin Goldsmith revealed in a heartfelt Instagram post (via People). Duff and Koma also helped launch the GoFundMe campaign for Goldsmith’s family after they lost their home, too.

The campaign has earned nearly $205,000 and counting. “All of this so overwhelming,” Goldsmith wrote on the Instagram page for Dawes, the band he shares with his brother and Moore’s husband Taylor Goldsmith. “But what is as equally overwhelming is the amount of love and generosity we are on the receiving end of.

Our dear friends Matthew Koma and Hilary Duff thought it wise to set up a GoFundMe for us to help with everything moving forward.
