A row has broken out at Manchester University's Students' Union over the establishment of a Pro-Life Society. Students have blasted the club as 'abhorrent' and 'concerning,' saying the Students' Union 'should be a place that supports all students' rights and wellbeing,' accusing them of 'endorsing societies that aim to abolish these rights'.

A petition to dissolve the society has reached over 8,000 signatures, with signatories calling the organisation 'outrageous' and 'harmful'.
