Footage which appears to show several men fighting while crowds of protesters holding signs boo and heckle them has been seen by the M.E.N.
It is understood the fight was not related to the protest. Hundreds of protesters flooded the Oxford Road campus on Thursday evening (February 29) to march outside the society's first meeting carrying placards and chanting.
