Manchester United will face National League club Wrexham during their pre-season tour of the United States at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California.
The friendly is the first fixture announced and, taking place on Tuesday, 25 July, looks like being towards the end of an expected three-week-long tour.
United have only previously played Wrexham five times before, with the most recent of those coming in 1995 for an FA Cup fourth-round tie.
It is the first time in five years that the club have toured the US. For Wrexham, it is the first time they will play in North America two-and-a-half years after Hollywood actors Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds completed a takeover of the Welsh club.
