McReynolds Company, requested the rights to market products with the club’s branding, such as clothes, toys, games and athletic gear, as well as to use for “entertainment services.”The FX docuseries “Welcome to Wrexham” premiered in August, and a second season is in the works.The A-list co-owners have said their goal is to transform the team into a “global force.”The Post has reached out to representatives for Wrexham AFC and Reynolds, 46, for comment.Reynolds is also in a bidding war to purchase the Ottawa Senators NHL team.“It’s very expensive,” the Vancouver native said in the fall. “I need a partner with, you know, really deep pockets.
It’s called a consortium, when you form a group together to buy an entity. It’s a fancy way of saying I need a sugar mommy or sugar daddy.”And he apparently found one.
