Manchester United have set their sights on signing Erling Haaland alternative Alexander Isak from Spanish side Real Sociedad - according to reports.
Speculation over Haaland and his Borussia Dortmund future remains at fever pitch. United and neighbours Manchester City are among the elite European clubs wanting to snap-up the Norway striker when his £64million release clause activates next summer.
But only one team will be successful in that regard. One alternative Dusan Vlahovic has already completed a move to Juventus during the January transfer window.
That decision has, in turn, seen interest in Isak increase. According to The Mirror, key figures in the Old Trafford boardroom are monitoring the Sweden international.
