Lingard is now enjoying the best form of his career on-loan at West Ham United, where he has scored nine goals in just 10 games, as well as adding a further four assists, and looks likely to earn himself a place in the England squad in the upcoming European Championships as a result.
The 28-year-old had a difficult 2020 as he looked after his younger brother and sister while his mother, who has lived with depression for most of her life, received treatment in London.
