Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United have issued an injury update on Scott McTominay before the showdown with West Ham. United returned to winning ways in their rearranged Premier League game against Brentford on Wednesday night as goals from Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford settled the scores.
It was a much-improved display from Ralf Rangnick's team upon the restart. However, while those three points helped United maintain their push for top-four, there was concern for Scotland international McTominay when he had to be replaced for the final few minutes.
The 24-year-old was seen clutching his lower back and went to the ground twice in quick succession. United are set to lock horns with fellow Champions League chasers West Ham on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
While that match will not be defining in shaping the top-four battle, victory for either side would give them a huge boost when it comes to challenging Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham for those desired positions.
