Manchester United loanee Matej Kovar has blasted his own 'naive' debut for Sparta Prague this weekend. Kovar, who has had loan spells at Swindon Town and Burton Albion in the past, joined the Czechia giants this week on a season long loan switch.
The 22-year-old was thrust straight into the starting line-up for his side's away trip to FK Teplice on Saturday. However, it was not the debut Kovar would have dreamt of, having been booked for a foul during the match before conceding twice as Sparta Prague let a two-goal lead slip in the Fortuna Liga.

I take the second goal on myself, it passed between me and Casper [Hojer]. "I was nervous, but the boys helped me, I went to the pitch with a clear head.
