Manchester United loanee Amad bade an emotional farewell to Sunderland supporters at the Stadium of Light after their final home match of the regular season.
Amad, 20, has spent the 2022/23 season on loan from United in the Championship, scoring 12 goals and assisting another four for teammates during 40 appearances for the club across all competitions.
The winger was one of three individuals nominated for the league's young player of the year award, which went to Bristol City teenager Alex Scott.
With the Ivory Coast international's help, Sunderland still have an outside chance of finishing in the top six and sealing a place in the play-offs.
