Morocco boss Walid Regragui has said midfielder Sofyan Amrabat will be joining a new club soon amid prior interest from Manchester United.
Amrabat's brother Nordin confirmed in March United had contacted the Morocco international regarding a move to Old Trafford.
In January, Erik ten Hag was seeking a midfielder to replace the injured Christian Eriksen. However, United ended up signing Marcel Sabitzer on loan for the remainder of the campaign from Bayern Munich.
The Austrian has now headed back to the Bavarian side and is not thought to be wanted at Old Trafford next season. United are seeking to strengthen their central midfield options ahead of the 2023/24 season.
