Manchester United legend Gary Neville has questioned why Pep Guardiola would return to Barcelona and believes Italy is a far more likely destination for the Manchester City boss' next move.
Guardiola has just over one year left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium and is yet to pen a new deal to extend his stay in England.
With that in mind, Joan Laporta has claimed he will aim to bring Guardiola back to Barcelona if his bid to return as president of the La Liga club in 2021 is successful.
