Manchester United academy goalkeeper Ondrej Mastny says it is a privilege just to shake hands with David de Gea and Sergio Romero.
Mastny, 18, travelled with the first-team squad to Wolves for United’s FA Cup third round draw in January due to the absence of De Gea and participated in the goalkeepers’ warm-up.
Mastny was also involved in preparations for the 4-0 home trouncing of Norwich City a week later when Romero was unavailable through injury.
Czech Republic-born Mastny joined United from Vysocina Jihlava in 2018 but only made his debut at the start of this season due to a long-term injury.
