Manchester United have reportedly been boosted in their attempts to sign Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos. Last season, Ramos was overshadowed by new Liverpool signing Darwin Nunez as the Uruguayan earned his move to the Premier League.
However, the 21-year-old Portuguese centre-forward has stepped up to the plate this campaign with eight goals in just 12 appearances in all competitions.
This form is believed to have draw the attention of United and they reportedly will not have to worry about interest from Bayern Munich.
According to Kicker, the German giants 'no longer hold an interest' in Ramos despite his fine displays in Portugal.
