Some Manchester United supporters have suggested that Erik ten Hag needs more help with focusing on new arrivals next summer, rather than getting caught up in contract renewals.
The Manchester Evening News understands that the Reds are confident of securing new deals for Marcus Rashford, David de Gea and Diogo Dalot.
The club triggered one-year extensions on both Rashford and Dalot in December ahead of fresh negotiations. De Gea’s current deal expires in June but United are working on a new deal that will see his terms reduced.
