Manchester United fans believe believe Erik ten Hag will bring success to the club, but are not so confident in director of football John Murtough and CEO Richard Arnold, according to an MEN poll.
Huge hope has been placed on Ten Hag to restore the club to where they once were. United have failed to win a trophy for the past five seasons and haven’t lifted the Premier League title since 2013.
Ten Hag arrives at Old Trafford on the back of three successive Eredivisie titles with Ajax. He reached the semi-finals of the 2019 Champions League during his tenure — something United have not done since reaching the final in 2011. And so it is no surprise that more than half the number of United supporters who voted in a Manchester Evening News poll said they were ‘very’ confident that Ten Hag can bring the club success.
