Manchester United will face Real Sociedad in the last 16 of the Europa League. The last 16 draw was made at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon on Friday lunchtime.
United booked their place in the last 16 by finishing third in the new-look league phase format last month after winning five of their eight matches.
They drew their other three games, meaning they were the only club to make it through unbeaten. Champions League qualification for 2025/26 will be secured by the winners of the Europa League.
United last won a European trophy in 2017. Drawn against Sociedad in the first knockout round of the competition, United will travel to the Reale Arena for the first leg on March 6, with the second leg taking place at Old Trafford a week later on March 13.
