Manchester United right back Noussair Mazraoui has undergone a minor precautionary corrective procedure after experiencing palpitations.
Mazraoui came off at half-time in the goalless draw with Aston Villa on Sunday and withdrew from the Morocco squad for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this month.
He is due to be out for a few weeks. The 26-year-old is expected to make a full recovery and United sources have stressed Mazraoui's condition is not an emergency.
Mazraoui joined United from Bayern Munich in August for a fee rising to £17.1million and he has started in nine of the ten matches he has been available for.
