Manchester United continue their quest for Champions League football this week when they travel to Brighton in a crucial Premier League showdown.

The Seagulls are one of the clubs able to prevent the Reds from playing in Europe's elite competition next term but United are in a strong position having defeated Aston Villa 1-0 last time out.

A win on the south coast would see Erik Ten Hag's side leapfrog Newcastle United into third and open up a 10-point gap to Liverpool in fifth.

Jurgen Klopp's side have reeled off four straight wins to surge up the table but they, like Tottenham and Villa, have a lot of ground to make up on United.
