Manchester United cancelled all media activity following their 1-0 Europa League defeat to Real Sociedad. The club decided to scale back all media activity after the Queen died in Balmoral on Thursday afternoon.

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta also did not fulfil any media obligations in the wake of their 2-1 Europa League win at Zurich. Ten Hag was due to hold an embargoed press conference previewing the Palace game. It is unclear if the Premier League and Football League fixtures will go ahead as planned this weekend.

The second day of England's third Test against South Africa at the Oval will not take place. The England and Wales Cricket Board have not clarified if days three, four and five will go ahead.
