Manchester United's unceremonious defeat to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup has heaped further pressure on under-fire boss Erik ten Hag.
A 3-0 drubbing from the Magpies saw United concede three goals in successive home matches for the first time since 1962 following the 3-0 loss to bitter rivals Manchester City on Sunday evening.
With the club now knocked out of the Carabao Cup, struggling in the Champions League and almost 10 points away from European qualification in the Premier League at such an early stage in the campaign, the pressure on Ten Hag is mounting.
Ten Hag has lost eight of his opening 15 games in all competitions this term, and when you consider the stoppage-time turnaround against Brentford at the start of October and the three-goal comeback against Nottingham Forest at the end of August, it could well have been more.
