However the move has not gone to plan and he has managed just 323 minutes in the Bundesliga this season. Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka have been ever-present in midfield, while the German side are set to sign Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig on a free transfer in the summer.
At 20-years-old, Gravenberch is eyeing a path to first-team football and the opportunity to continue the development he enjoyed at Ajax.
And 90min reports that he is set to analyse his future this summer, with United, Liverpool and Arsenal all asking to be kept informed of his decision ahead of a potential move.
