Cristiano Ronaldo made no comment on scoring the 700th goal of his club career after helping Manchester United beat Everton 2-1 at Goodison Park on Sunday evening, focussing on the win itself instead.
After falling behind to Alex Iwobi's sumptuous effort with just five minutes on the clock, United got themselves back on level terms just 10 minutes later, courtesy of Antony's third goal in as many Premier League games.
He was sent clear by Anthony Martial and he made no mistake to dispatch a cool finish past Jordan Pickford. United completed the turnaround just before half-time, courtesy of Ronaldo's landmark strike.
The Portuguese striker — who had stepped off the bench just before the half-hour mark to replaced the injured Martial — was sent scampering free by Casemiro and he slotted a cool, left-footed effort beyond Pickford to mark his crowning moment.
