Temperatures are set to rise across the weekend, with weather forecasters predicting Manchester will see its hottest day of the year.
On Saturday, April 15, temperatures are set to soar to 21C in the afternoon according to the Met Office, falling slightly to highs of 18C on Sunday.
The "very pleasant" spring conditions could beat the hottest temperature recorded in 2022 prior to today, with highs of 20.8C recorded in the South of England at the end of March.
Experts predicted today's glorious weather could beat the 2022 high, with temperatures hitting 20.2C in West London by 1pm this afternoon - expected to rise to 23C by late afternoon.
