It might be another grey, dull day in Greater Manchester, but the weekend is forecast to be warmer and brighter. Today's temperatures (Thursday May 5) will hit highs of 18C, although the sun won't be making much of an appearance as clouds dominate the sky.
By 6pm this evening the clouds will begin to break up a bit, leading to a 'mostly clear' night. Temperatures will stay in double figures overnight, with lows of 10C.
And it will be another grey start tomorrow (Friday May 6), turning wet from around 10am. Rain showers are forecast for the rest of the day, so keep your umbrella handy.
