Manchester’s student housing boom shows no signs of slowing down as another purpose-built student accommodation block (PBSA) has been unveiled.

The latest PBSA block is on the corner of Acomb Street and Moss Lane East, near Whitworth Park. It is on the border of the Moss Side and Ardwick wards of the city.

Some 169 bedrooms are planned for the site in a six-storey block, new proposals from Cheshire Homes Group show. The firm wants to demolish the existing three-floor apartment building called College View currently in the spot. With extensive amenities and a focus on sustainability and community, we are confident that this development will offer an exceptional living experience that supports both academic and personal growth.” If given planning permission, the 169 student bedrooms would add to the thousands that already have the green light in Ardwick next door.
