Train passengers travelling via Manchester Piccadilly have been warned of major disruption following an incident. Earlier, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed that they were called at around 3pm today because a person was 'on the gantry'.
They also confirmed that the person is now down. Following the incident, National Rail said: "Major disruption is now expected until the end of the day." On the website, National Rail say lines have now reopened following the trespass incident at the station.
