A Manchester music venue will be back in court next week as a row over noise levels continues, more than two years after the initial complaint was made.
Night & Day Café in the Northern Quarter was served a legal notice by Manchester council in November 2021. It followed a complaint from residents living in a neighbouring flat who have since moved out.
TheOldham Street business appealed the noise abatement notice, launching a high-profile campaign, claiming that its survival is at stake if it loses in court.
Several court hearings have taken place so far, starting in November 2022, but the case has been repeatedly adjourned.
