Next week, Manchester city centre will come alive as a spectacular dragon parade meanders through the streets to mark Chinese New Year.
The annual celebration falls on Wednesday, January 29 but there will also be a number of events across the weekend including the much-loved dragon parade, street food markets and live performances.
As many visitors and locals will have have noticed, streets across the city centre have already been adorned with thousands of red lanterns to mark the special occasion.
And on February 1 and 2, Manchester’s Chinatown will host a weekend of festivities including the much-loved dragon parade.
