Greater Manchester's police chief says he welcomes a decision to take no criminal action against officers in connection with an incident at Manchester Airport.
Two members of the public have been charged in connection to what GMP described as an 'altercation' at Terminal 2 on July 23.
GMP has been investigating the actions of the individuals whilst the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has been probing the actions of the officers involved.
Today (Friday), they charged two men from Rochdale with assaults on police officers. No police officers will be charged, the CPS said in a statement today.
