Manchester Airport has hit back after it was named the worst airport in the UK in Which?’s annual survey. The magazine asked nearly 4,000 people about their experiences at UK airports over the past 12 months, with Liverpool John Lennon Airport being named the best.
Which? members were invited to rate the airports across eleven categories, including seating, staff, toilets and queues at check in, bag drop, passport control and security.
The 3,842 members surveyed were asked about their experiences from June 2022 until June 2023 - which does not factor in the most recent summer holiday period.
Manchester Airport has branded the survey “flawed and misleading” as it fails to cover the service it has provided to passengers this summer.
