Manchester Airport has issued fresh guidance for passengers after Monday’s air traffic control fault led to major travel disruption.
The airport said it was operating a ‘near normal flight schedule’ on Wednesday after two days of cancelled and delayed flights.
Passengers are urged to check the status of their flight with their airline before making their way to the airport as some services continue to be delayed.
The airport warned that ‘terminals may be busier than usual’ as airlines work to overcome the disruption. In a statement shared on X, the site formerly known as Twitter, the airport said: “Manchester Airport is operating a near normal flight schedule today, following Monday’s nationwide technical issue that affected air traffic control.
