An easyJet passenger was left feeling ‘upset and belittled’ when he was charged £48 for his cabin bag after staff told him that he couldn’t let the bag ‘fall into place’.
Graeme McCracken paid the fee even though he claims his bag meets the airline’s dimension requirements - and in fact his partner had the same bag and wasn’t charged.
Graeme was flying from Belfast International to Manchester Airport with his partner on Sunday, September 22 after a long weekend visiting family.
The couple both had the same small cabin bags in different colours, which meet the airline’s requirements of: 45cm x 36cm by 20cm.
