Man whose fiancée has cancer left with no income this Christmas after van with tools stolen

A father has been left unable to provide for his fiancée suffering from cancer and their two-year-old girl, just three weeks before Christmas, after his work van was stolen from outside his house.

Kitchen fitter Liam Armitage, from Featherstone, in Wakefield, got home at around 6pm on Monday but half an hour later found that cruel thieves had stolen his work van.

Liam, 33, said that the van contained all his tools and everything that he needs in order to work - so he is now left with no income and no way to support his family.

He told Yorkshire Live: "Everything that I own is in that van, I've now got to find a new van and all the new tools - a second hand van would probably be six or seven grand and my tools are about five grand." Liam's
