Police are probing the disappearance of a Scots man who checked out of a hotel in Inverness almost a week ago and hasn't been heard from or seen since.

Leslie Robertson, from Caithness, left Barrack on Sunday November 13 to travel to Inverness, where he stayed at the Palace Hotel in Inverness.

He checked out of the Best Western hotel on Wednesday November 16.The 57-year-old did not return home from the Highland city and has not been in touch with his family or friends since, which they have described as "uncharacteristic".

Leslie was reported missing to police yesterday, Monday November 21. It is possible he may still be in Inverness and enquiries are ongoing.
