Man and woman arrested following police pursuit and crash on A77 at Kilmarnock

A man and a woman have been arrested following a police pursuit and crash in Ayrshire at the weekend.The 36-year-old man and 38-year-old woman were charged following the incident on the A77 at Grassyards Interchange just after 5.30pm on Saturday.The major road was closed southbound between Grassyards and the Bellfield Interchange following the crash, causing huge delays in and around the area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A man and woman have been arrested and charged following a pursuit and crash on the A77 at the Grassyards Interchange, Kilmarnock, around 5.35pm on Saturday, December 10. “The 36-year-old man is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, December 12, and the 38-year-old woman is due to appear in court on at a later date.” For the latest news and breaking news visit our website.
