Solskjær also supervises a training academy for young footballers in his home town of Kristiansund, and is a patron of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust.
Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes (born 8 September 1994) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Primeira Liga club Sporting CP and the Portugal national team as a midfielder. Fernandes started his career at Serie B side Novara Calcio and soon featured for Udinese and Sampdoria in Serie A.

In 2017, he signed with Sporting CP where he established himself as one of the best players in the Primeira Liga. He was named the LPFP Primeira Liga Player of the Year in both 2017–18 and 2018–19. In the latter season, he also helped Sporting win the Taça de Portugal. A senior international since 2017, Fernandes represented Portugal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Manchester United secured a memorable derby day victory over Manchester City at Old Trafford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side won the crunch clash 2-0 after goals from Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay.

Martial slotted home after a sublime free kick from Bruno Fernandes, who masterfully chipped the ball into his team-mate’s path.

It was another impressive performance following his high-profile January transfer from Sporting Lisbon. Sergio Aguero thought he’d got his side back on level terms just after the break.

But despite Raheem Sterling's clever pass, the Argentina international was deemed to be fractionally offside. McTominay grabbed United’s second deep into injury time after Ederson’s botched clearance.
