dailystar.co.ukManchester United are reportedly willing to double Raphael Varane’s wages in order to sign the Real Madrid defender this summer.United have turned their attention to Varane after sealing a £73million deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have tried to sign Varane twice - in 2011 and 2018 - and it seems like the summer of 2021 could be a case of third time lucky.Varane has entered the final 12 months of his Real contract and has refused to sign a new deal because he is keen to explore his options.
El Confidencial reports that, while Real were initially keen to keep the 28-year-old this summer, president Florentino Perez is now happy to sell him.
