Manchester United are set to shatter their wage structure in a bid to try and sign Harry Kane from Tottenham, reports suggest.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to pursue the England captain this summer, despite facing the likelihood of having to fork out £130million for the 27-year-old.
Kane still has two years to run on his current contract in N17, and it is unlikely Spurs will want to let him go. But regardless, both Manchester clubs are said to have approached the forward with a preliminary contract offer worth £80million.
If the deal were to go through, and if the rumours of an £80m contract were true, Kane still wouldn't be the highest-earning player at United.
