Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish has ended speculation surrounding his future at the club, at least for this summer, by signing a new five-year contract with the club.
The midfielder had been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United but the Manchester Evening News are reporting that concerns over where Grealish would be most effective for the Red Devils meant they were 'never close' to making a concrete attempt to sign him.
The 25-year-old was on United's radar but Grealish's versatility counted against him. The England international began the season in central midfield but has since switched to a role on the left of Villa's front three, a position which Marcus Rashford occupies for United.
