Manchester United halted a three-game winless run with a 2-0 triumph over Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday evening, setting them up nicely for Sunday's showdown with rivals Leeds United at Elland Road.
United, who beat Leeds 5-1 on the opening day of the season back in August, were in desperate need of all three points against the Seagulls after successive draws against both Burnley and Southampton.
The win over Graham Potter's side lifted United back into the top four, meaning they will stay there if they equal or better West Ham United's result this weekend.
Despite getting back to winning ways in midweek, no shortage of ongoing problems and long-term plans need to be sorted, least of all deciding who will succeed Ralf Rangnick ahead of the start of next season.
