A large section of Sevilla fans already seem to be running out of patience with Manchester United loanee Anthony Martial, who was jeered off in his latest outing.
The attacker was substituted with less than an hour on the close as Sevilla, currently second in La Liga, were held to a goalless draw by Real Sociedad.
The 26-year-old was handed his first league start since coming back from injury, after playing 102 minutes in the 2-1 aggregate extra-time defeat to West Ham in the Europa League Last 16 on Thursday.
Martial has scored once in eight appearances for Sevilla and is yet to find the net in La Liga. Fans were less than impressed with the attacker’s shift on Sunday, the result of which let Barcelona close the gap to three points following their emphatic 4-0 triumph over Real Madrid in El Clasico.
