A man who pursued his ex-girlfriend during a 'frightening' three-month stalking campaign where he threatened to slash her face has been jailed.
Callum Parkinson, 22, was in a four-year relationship with the woman before it ended in August last year. Preston Crown Court heard that the split had initially been amicable before Parkinson started to appear outside her home.
On one occasion he appeared at the back of her house carrying a vodka bottle where he accused his ex of sleeping with her neighbour and threatened to smash the bottle over her head. The court was told that while he did not approach his ex in the club, he stood looking at her making her feel uneasy. Over time, Parkinson’s threats were said to have escalated further.
